Me and Yemaya-Understanding Relationship

I am going to start this post by saying I have not been initiated by any priest or priestess. In my heart I feel Yemaya found me, when I was at a really low place without comfort or protection, and her guidance and strength has helped mold me into the woman I am today.

When I was very young, I used to always watch the moon from the backseat, so sure I could see a face in it. When I was introduced to cartoons like Lil Audrey and the Man in the Moon, they really intrigued me. It was just something that was natural to me, I felt close to it. It would be 23 years later before I delved into my birthchart, after not understanding why I was so emotional compared to all these cold so-what Aquariuses I was supposed to be grouped in with. That’s when I found out the Moon was my Chart Ruler, and is a major point in multiple aspects in my chart. Me and the Moon have a very close bond.

The way I found Yemaya was through a strange synchronocity. I heard the name one place, then knew someone who knew someone whose name was Yemaya, whose face reminded me of a tarot card I had. This was shown to me through a very public Facebook breakup. I just happened to be fortunate enough to be on someone’s friendslist so I couldn’t quite miss the message. As I started learning more about her, her story and her purpose resonated a lot with me.

But because of my Christian background, I hadn’t really considered what real relationship with a Goddess or Spirit Guide was like. My understanding was I’m just supposed to be good then I come and ask you for stuff and you deliver. Of course, not getting the main things I’d spent many years praying over was how I had left that belief system behind. But I was still attached to the behavior. I’ll never forget loud as day when I was making my first altar and lighting candles and a voice said “Stop Asking For Stuff.” Mind you, this was when I wasn’t in dire straights, I was just hoping that now all my unrealized dreams were gonna come true because I was on the right path.

It was a very selfish view, but again this was the idea of relationship with deity I was used to and didn’t understand what else I was missing.

A year later I would be in dire straights and this time I was for sure all my desires should be met…so why was I working so hard and getting nowhere? I reached out to someone I trust in the spiritual field for a reading and they reiterated the same message I had received from the year before “Stop Asking For Stuff.” I was pissed at first like, can’t you see me suffering? But eventually I swallowed my pride, stopped whining and accepted the way things were. Of course, immediately blocked things started to move forward once I humbled myself.

These lessons taught me to trust. So when I had my biggest fear, in my lowest space, I came to her broken and alone. I spent what little I had on a special offering and went to the Gulf of Mexico on Summer Solstice June 21, 2018. I surrendered to her guidance and her help. And I asked her to protect me and my children and tell me what to do. In response she gave me a rainbow the next time I visited the area, and I knew everything would be okay.

It doesn’t mean I never screwed up again, or missed the point, or cried out in total frustration “WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!!!” But looking back it was so worth it. So much of what I felt was lacking in my personal relationships like time, commitment, recognition were the things I wasn’t giving to my relationship with my Spirit Guides. Remembering my Goddesses feast days and communing with them regularly. The more I poured into her, she poured into me. She also led me to other sources that could help me with particular tasks. And that’s why I see Yemaya as my Patron Goddess, because I feel she has always been with me all my life. Even when I was that frightened girl in front of the TV watching The Little Mermaid to escape what was happening in my home.

I’m mentioning all this because today I had dejavu. I’ve been anxious all week, which usually leads to stressful situations, but they are blessings in disguise. So today I was looking at my calendar and realized Labor Day is September 7th and I marked that day as Yemaya’s day so I wouldn’t forget. I was already on a budget and now I’m thinking, I have to do something for Mama, she’s done so much for me I have to show her I care. So I go to the store and I’m only getting whats within the budget but I was still off by $4. I get to the register and I had the lady take some stuff off…my card still wouldn’t work. I’m trying not to freak out when a Hispanic man walks up to the cashier and asks to pay for the groceries. He looks me in my eyes and says “God Bless.”  The moment was so bizarre because I remembered having this same experience during the year of my Saturn Return when I was in Houston, Tx almost 7 years ago.

It was December 2013, right around Christmas. It had been the year from hell. I had been homeless. I had been drugged and raped. I was driving about 2-3 hrs for a lowpaying job in Alvin, TX from the Northside of Houston simply because I needed to survive and so far since I had moved back to Texas nothing in my life had gone as planned. Keep in mind in 2012 I had just graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. In the midst of attempting to find a better paying job (took time off for interviews) and do the right thing when it came to family ties (took time off for reunions), I put my own job on the line, missed too much time and lost the job. In hindsight I never should have been doing all that for $10/hr anyway, but I’m a survivor so the only way I was gonna be jobless was to get fired.

I was mentally spiritually emotionally broken, angry with God and my family, and couldn’t understand why I was being hit with so much. It forced me to think outside the box to solve my problems because nothing anyone was offering was helpful. I had ran across Elliott Hulse and he introduced me to authors like Francis Scovel Schinn and looking at life symbolically. I’ll never forget the day I realized I was getting in my own way. I had started listening to her audiobook “The Game of Life and How To Play It” and she was talking about how you can’t tell the universe HOW to do something, just WHAT you want done.

I only had maybe $5 on a card. I was at the 99cents store trying to buy some basic items to get us through while I figured out if I was going to get evicted or not. I was next in line and all of a sudden I couldn’t find my card. I looked everywhere, searched my wallet 3 times, my pockets, nothing. I was ready to cry and just say “DAMMIT just this ONE TIME can I CATCH A DAMN BREAK!” When the Black lady behind me asked if she could buy my items. I should mention that 10 minutes later in the same pocket I had searched 4 or 5x in while at the store, I found the card. And now I had an extra $5 to work with.

It hit me that Spirit wasn’t trying to harm me, it was trying to help me but I was missing my opportunities by focusing on the way things should happen…This de ja vu moment when I was so easily able to accept this gift from the Universe, get what I needed for myself and for Yemaya, and see how far I have come on my spiritual path was incredible.

It is a relationship, just like the one you have with your friends, or your sisters, or your cousins. You develop it and strengthen it over time, you listen to eachother, you show gratitude and appreciation. I learned what a real relationship should be like through my relationship with Yemaya and her loving on me.

So I am thankful and grateful for Mama Yemaya, for all the blessings she has bestowed upon me and my family, and I give honor to her now and forever. You Are Appreciated ❤ ❤ ❤

The Deeper Side of Venus and Values, Fridays, and the Heart Chakra

Everyone loves Fridays. It’s usually the day we wait for, especially me cause it’s my day off lol. But even before then Friday held a magical spark for me, the day where I could take a sigh of relief as I prepared for a weekend of rest and relaxation. Maybe get a manicure or a pedicure ( before the pandemic of course) or take the kids out for a movie after a grueling week of slavish work and constant schedules. We love Fridays because it symbolizes a break from the mundane, a chance to stop and smell the roses. And a lot like we love Fridays, everyone loves Venus♥♥♥

I started this post a few years ago when Jupiter was moving into Libra (2016-2017), so understand that some of this information has been adapted for the current time frame and will be examined in retrospect after having observed the energy.

I remember in a previous Pisces reading talking about how the transit energy seemed to be saying that so many of us just want to move on into new scenarios, new lifestyles, new relationships, while still not having cut ties with the scenarios and relationships we don’t want, and I felt that Jupiter was holding us accountable. Looking back I can also observe that the collective has been held accountable for the things we hold onto in general, those things that weigh on our heart that we run from, hoping we will find solace elsewhere.

So while this is a post about Venus, this is more than a post on admiring beautiful things, having a lot of sex or feeling like you’re the next contestant on the Bachelor. Venus ultimately makes us look at the heart and compare what we hold within to what we are chasing after in an effort to avoid what’s within us, even if it’s only Self-Love and Self-Acceptance. To see the beauty in all things, even the gritty flaws and blemishes (metaphorically and physically) that we feel have no place or room in the picture perfect image we would like to portray. The deeper side of Venus.

Venus rules 2 signs and houses in the zodiac: Taurus (the 2nd house of money values and material increase) and Libra (the 7th house of partnerships, contracts & negotiations, and basic relations with others).

Venus herself represents the feminine principle in life, which is all about values and negotiations. For instance, beauty is subjective to the person, which is where individual Venus signs come in to play on how the energy is expressed. But the energy itself represents expressing and sharing appreciation for something you see as valuable or desirable. To each his own.

Friday is usually the day that we want to enjoy ourselves and relax. We want to be free to experience and appreciate things that make us feel good. A lot of people get paid on Fridays, and Venus represents money and material gains. Or you plan your vacations to start on Friday cause the energy just feels right to get that head start. It’s when we want to fulfill our desires.

In observing my own experience with this I remember when I started $7 Fridays. In one way I was working with the energy by creating a weekly special on a day where:

1 I didn’t have scheduled plans or readings

2 I wanted to see increase in profits

3 It was an expression of me giving back to the people that supported my channel by giving them affordable options.

As time went on it occurred to me that Venus wasn’t pleased with this because although my heart was in the right place I had devalued the whole purpose to begin with. Meaning by staying at that level it was no longer special, it became common place and lower value.

There is a Youtuber I would occasionally watch when I was considering van life as an alternative (don’t judge me I was tryna get out of paying rent for a little while lol) DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse. He was talking about how he had wrote this book about how he healed his body from some ailments he was dealing with. He gave the book away for free on Amazon and nobody downloaded it. He finally realized it wasn’t because the content was bad, just that nobody appreciated it because he was giving it away. To them, it had no value. He put a price on it and immediately he started getting more views and shares and I think now he’s written 3 books so far.

Sidenote: He has currently changed the format of his channel to solely focus on Solar Power and he is doing amazing! But the video I’m referencing is no longer up. However his book I’m talking about “Get F**king Healthy!: 4 steps to controlling your health that doctors don’t want you to know about” is on Amazon if you want to check it out. Haven’t read it yet, but he’s a smart dude so I’m sure there’s helpful info in it.

Anyway his story inspired me to reconsider value and if I was in fact devaluing myself and my craft by offering the readings at a lower price. This also began to be exposed to me in experiences I was having with people where I was giving a lot, because that’s my nature as a person who just likes to help people. But after constantly being disrespected by people I helped, assisted, and protected it occurred to me that maybe I was going about this the wrong way.

I had considered the alternative, flipping the script and refusing to give in certain situations and scenarios. I observed those who were masters at the art of using Venus to their benefit and considered if there was more I could learn. The dark side of Venus, self-centeredness and I expect the best of everything because the world revolves around me is obviously a reality, and usually why Venus gets a bad rap. It’s a lot easier to express this energy because you don’t have to question yourself or your morals. Whatever benefits you is law.

But I constantly found myself in conflicting situations where things others said were okay to do I just couldn’t follow through with, even if there was some supposed pay off on the other end. This was also during the time I was in therapy trying to understand why I was going through so much…it finally occurred to me there is a balance. This is probably around the time frame $7 Fridays became $11 Fridays as an expression of Balance and Justice in the name of value.

As I let go of what others valued and stopped comparing myself to that, I started to focus more on what was valuable to me. Understanding this about myself allowed me to live more in the moment, because as long as what I valued was met the rest was irrelevant. But I also learned to stop sacrificing myself in situations where there is no benefit or reciprocation of any kind. Then making sacrifices based on what benefits were there and what value they held in my life.

This started with bigger things, like what I valued to make me feel secure like a home, steady income, a place where I could finally settle down and not want to move again. This later would spill over into other areas of my life like my career goals long-term, what constitutes as success, and ultimately relationships of all kinds.

As I considered everything the one question I mainly found myself asking was not whether these things had value, but whether they saw value in me. How was this value expressed, was it equal to the value I saw in the relationship, was I giving equally as well or was I taking too much. Had I taken too much and lost value and did that make the relationship not worth saving anymore. Had this person taken too much and was I willing to invest anything more and if so why? What purpose did these things hold that I had given value to having in my life?

Relationships are a bit trickier because value or devalue isn’t always recognized as quickly, so you may not notice who you are to someone until one day…you just can’t ignore it. Whether it’s a job that ignores your concerns, or a friend who ignores your calls in times of crisis. They all reflect back to your place in a certain situation at that time. And then you have to consider how you have attributed to your own “price-tag” so-to-speak.

For me the answer has been to let go of that attachment altogether. I no longer give with expectation because it has no purpose. If I give it’s already gone before it’s received by another. If I love it’s while acknowledging that the love may never be returned but that doesn’t mean I’m still not worth it. And to stop giving value to situations and scenarios that devalue me in any shape or form.

Of course that’s MY perspective of devalue, I am not insinuating anything having to do with a woman’s sexuality. Let ya freak flag fly honey just make sure you enjoy yourself first LOL. But if you give your body to someone who you value and this person doesn’t value you, the exchange is not equal so know that something has been “taken” in some way, and those devaluing attachments only leave you feeling less than when you first gave yourself to the person. So from that perspective I wouldn’t advise letting ya fake freakbutnotreallyiminlove flag fly cause it’s usually just a mess. Yeah I said it.

Letting go of the ideas of what I’m supposed to be valuing and learning what I truly value outside of society’s rules led me to having a better understanding of myself. Yet the heart chakra remains blocked. If not blocked it’s definitely smoggy in there lol.

I’m sure it has more to do with the disappointment of coming to a stage in life I often find myself. Stable financially yet socially isolated. And I know a lot of us are now, but just know that for me quarantine has been my life the most part for the past 7 years so it don’t phase me, except now I have to wear a mask LOL.

Yet whenever I have gone on this quest to meet new people or expand my social life it usually results in financial loss and still being isolated. So I’ve just decided that one is better than the other, not just because of the money but because acquiring stability is an expression of my value and love for my family and it’s more important than any other social connections or desire for companionship.

Definitely not worth the risk of losing stability again…and I guess in that I do realize what I truly value and I am committed to in my life. My family. It’s small and unorganized and sometimes it’s chaotic and stressful. But it’s my tribe, it’s my pack and I have to lead it. And if I value my tribe and I want better for them then I must value myself to give better to them.

I guess this also explains why I stopped my Friday Venus specials. Venus said so 🙂

How have you guys experienced the energy from this transit since 2017 and what revelations have you had about love and what you truly value?

360 Degrees of Reality-Understanding Your Chart-Intro

Welcome to Aiyana’s Rainbow Bridge!

2016 has been an exciting year. After months of reviewing old Solar Returns and transits and noticing some major themes reoccurring, I made a commitment. I studied this years Solar Return as an horary tool (meaning I based the time of the manifestation of transits to when the Sun passed through certain parts of the Solar Return Chart). I also studied intently my Lunar Return cycles. And through study and application, I have come to some interesting  observations about astrology and it’s purposeful use in our lives.

To go back to my initial posts about the Sun and Moon, we should begin to notice that every aspect of creation operates from a masculine/assertive and feminine/passive force. This is even evident in your glands and their functions, your organs and their functions, your sex organs, your brain. Even down to how your cells need a balance of sodium and water (acidic/masculine base/feminine). This same theme of reflections, darkness and light, are no different in the zodiac. In a 360 degree sphere of reality, there are many ways to group and observe the energy. But it is always balanced through an opposing force that provides it’s shadow, usually representing this energy in relation to other people.

I will be posting videos soon about these blogs, but it’s easier for me to write them, so I’ll start posting information around this time.

Peace and Love, the Six Axises Blog coming soon.

Pluto Retrograde in Natal 7th House-Owning the Shadows of Your Underworld

A big HEYYYYY YA’LLL to my SeaSuns and SeaStars,

I have been away for quite awhile and have not finished my 7 series. But seeing as numbers hold a frequency and this is about Pluto retrograding in my 7th house, this post will relate.

I am a Cancer rising at 16Âş33. Pluto has been transiting my 6th house in the 1st 15 degrees of Capricorn for some years, but I didn’t really notice all the changes I was making to my everyday life (from SAD overweight misfit bookworm to non-meat eating nature loving yoga Priestess) because I was coming to the completion of a Saturn Return that taught me some really hard lessons about life. These changes supported these lessons, so I accepted them as me getting better and kept it moving. Oh I was so proud of my progress, I was so enlightened, so in tune, nothing could shake me of my inner peace 🙂

When Pluto got to about 3 degrees from my ascendant line, I started to notice a pattern. Many people in my life seemed to be needing things from me, or requiring things from me that clashed with the person I was becoming. They would offer me meat knowing I didn’t eat it and make a fuss about me not celebrating holidays. They would look at my sage and crystals with a weird face and comment on how I didn’t have a microwave. It was annoying because the lesson Saturn just taught me was accepting and seeing others as they are. Allowing them to express their own uniqueness (Saturn is in my 5th house) so I could feel comfortable expressing mine. It would appear that the more I respected the space of others, the more they tried to overstep their boundaries. I started to see some relationships for what they really were, attachments I had gotten comfortable with that were draining me. With the new understanding that everything that comes in cycles (the same energy expressing itself in multiple scenarios) is so you can learn a lesson, I immediately started researching to see what was happening in my chart. And there I found pesky Pluto opposite my Ascendant.

I have a natal Sun Square Pluto and Moon Opposite Pluto, so I am familiar with the doom and gloom associated with Plutonic energy. When I think of Pluto I think of the Phoenix. I see it as a symbol of the necessary death and rebirth that must take place for the energies to harmonize. This energy has manifested itself in my life over the years through many phases of destruction and rebirth.  In my experience Pluto demands some kind of crisis, sacrifice, or acceptance of some painful truth. Like when you’re afraid to fly an airplane so to get past it you have to deal with the anxiety and stress that you might die. You’re freaking out, sweating, throwing  up and you may feel embarrassed, but once the ride is over you know that you can go through it and survive. And this acceptance and facing of fear transforms the old you into something stronger.

So, I have been scouring videos and websites on google, hoping for an in depth explanation on this Pluto in 7th house dynamic, that I knew was a big deal seeing as I also have my Sun and Jupiter conjunct Mercury in my 7th house as well. But everywhere I looked, I saw the same themes. People meeting crazy people, power struggles, long term relationships that imploded within a short period of time. I thought…I have no lover so I guess I’ll meet a crazy person. So I held my breath in anticipation waiting for my stalker to appear and chain me to his cold plutonic heart. The sex was supposed to be great, and I wasn’t getting any. If nothing else, I was in for a wild ride.

Instead what happened was…I started drawing people like myself. People who thought they were grounded, business minded, balanced leaders (Capricorn/ Earth/10th house)who later displayed extreme emotional attachments to identity, home, commitment, and religion (Cancer/Water/4th house). You start to see how…backwards you’ve been. Having a Cancer rising means Cancer/and Capricorn (4th and 10th houses) are in the houses of Aries and Libra (1st and 7th houses) and vice versa. So expressions of the self and others are based on the private and public environments. And you want to influence these environments through expressions of self with others. You bring your independent creative Aries fire into the realm of work, the public, and reputation (Aries MC) and a cool but serious and authoritative demeanor in one-on-one partnerships with others (Capricorn DC). You bring an air of togetherness and compromise to family situations or people you feel connected to in your immediate environment (Libra IC), but have problems balancing yourself in unfamiliar territory or around people you don’t know and inherently do not trust (Cancer AC).

These experiences I have been having are showing myself to myself through others. As I see me, I see the part of myself that has also had these extreme reactions, or the desire to adjust other peoples beliefs or ideas to make me feel more comfortable and secure. And I guess that’s the big issue. The common need for Cancer/Capricorn axis is security. Cancer seeks security for its feelings, Capricorn seeks security for its values. Both signs carry common traits into the realm of the other (Materialism, manipulation, worry, sensitivity, persistence, leadership) but express it in different ways.

To see that need from the stage of the 1st/7th house axis, you see how this need colors your expression of self and interactions with others because you are identifying yourself and your interactions with others from a place of insecurity.  And we usually seek security through some means of control which is Pluto’s domain. Keep in mind even now that Capricorn represents Governments. Governments seek to establish security within an environment through leadership and control of the public environment. So Pluto is saying something needs to die here so the true expression can evolve.

I see now how unreasonable some of my expectations in the past were, and how I have overstepped boundaries in the lives of others because I was too afraid to face myself. And now I’m here, on this Pluto airplane ride upchucking in a paper bag…but I’ll be alright.

Once this is over I’ll find myself secure with both aspects. The part of me that embraces leadership and has control over their emotions, and the part of me that can be in touch with their emotions without losing control or being influenced by the environment around them. I will be a person with established boundaries and a deeper understanding of self as others test aspects of myself that I need to refine, clarify, and strengthen. Parts of me will die. The fear, anxiety, need for control, and most importantly the idea that my Sol can only be seen or validated within the reflection of another (Sun in 7th problems). Instead I will see myself as I am, strength and weaknesses, light and the shadow, and I will declare that all of  it is good.

Until next time, Be Amore.

The Sol Within-The Sun, Mars, and the Solar Plexus

This post will be more personal in nature

The study and interest of the Solar Plexus was a journey within itself. It started with an idea that there was always this dance between Mars (the ego self that defines itself by what it does/appears) and the Sun (the divine Soul that does what it does and needs no definition).

And on a surface level you can see that these are the 2 main components that are influencing the power behind the Solar Plexus. The Solar Plexus is the energy source that gives life to the other areas of your personal universe. It is through this power center that you are manifesting these energies into your life. I emerge and “I AM” so “I WILL”.

Every aspect of self that you identify with is stored here. Your anger, your addictions, your will, you strength. It all resides in the core of your Solar Plexus. This is the true self.

So examining the Solar Plexus was a journey to know self. I first wanted to know discipline and committed to 90 days of yoga to get in tune with my body and practice allowing. Later I took what was supposed to be a short time of rest. This was a very hectic time frame. Many things were happening and I felt that I was getting pulled back into the frustrations of life. I didn’t want to be miserable anymore and started pulling myself back out.

And that’s when I learned that above all the Solar Plexus will teach you about Self-Love through acceptance. Sometimes we must journey to the darkest depths of our nature, those things we have yet to completely transmute and transform from our lives. We have to face the aspects of ourselves that we do not want to share with others, that causes us guilt, shame, and loss of self love and respect.

Look at yourself and ask yourself how you feel? When I see my reflection I love smiling back. There are still times though when my mood and reactions to things have me feeling inadequate. And then there’s so much comparing to what other people do. I have discovered for myself that I don’t have to deny those parts of myself anymore.

Those things need to be expressed freely so a new form of expression can emerge. Unrestrained, unblocked by all the suppression and shame. I don’t second guess myself anymore either. When I deal with people I make a choice and then I support that choice 100% (transmuting the Sun Square Moon energy) because I trust myself and love myself so much I know I made the best choice I could. I’ll stand by me!

The Sun rules Leo in the 5th house, 5 representing creative force that expands on the stability of the 4. The Solar Plexus is the 3rd Chakra up (symbolizing manifestation) and the 5th Chakra down (which coincides with the 5th house).

Things that have improved my Solar Plexus chakra experience
-Tiger Eye. I made a Tiger Eye wire wrap pendant and put it on a chain I wear regularly. My sense of self and confidence have increased greatly.

-Core exercises. I did a lot of yoga, most of the moves in one way or another engaged my core. There is an energetic connection to core strength and Sol Energy. You can feel it after you’ve worked your core or when you’re stretching it. You become more energized.

-Self Love and Acceptance. More on the acceptance part which is the greater act of love. Allowing you to be you and not apologizing for it or making excuses for it. I allow myself to fully step into the now and live I AM.

-Citrine. Citrine is great for Solar Plexus. Brings Good luck-I have a testimony on this one so from experience it can provide favorable conditions. I wore this when I wanted to shine my light or when I felt like my Universe was expanding. Brings High Vibes

Eating yellow foods-Bananas, Oranges, Peaches help keep me energized and in a good mood.

-Dress brightly. One thing that drastically changed is my wardrobe. I went from mostly wearing all black or only dark tones to wearing bright tones and patterns and dressing like I’m alive. Because I am comfortable shining my light I don’t need to wear tones that help me fade into the background.

So this post wasn’t at all how I first started writing it. From this point forward the true Self reigns.

Love Peace

Where Have You Been?-Rest Regroup Recharge

Happy Moonday Seasons and Seastars,

I’ve been away for some time.  became a little distracted by the mundane things in life. It was an exciting time though. I completed 90 days of yoga concentrating on discipline and getting in tune with my body.

I was promoted to a new position that has expanded my “career” skill set. And the discussion on the worth of a job is another post, but sometimes I wonder how valid it is if it isn’t my soul’s calling. Seems the more I stop needing validation from something it is given freely and without pain. The Most High is Awesome. And I AM INFINITE. Which is why I’m back. To do my soul some service 🙂

There have also been some changes in my household and energetic consequences. Maybe I’ll get more into how other people’s vibration interact with yours and can try to pull you into their frequency. I’m focusing energy on owning my own vibrations and ability to stay high vibe. It is a lot free-er that way.

I really want to go ahead finish my post on the Solar Plexus. I had started one a couple of weeks ago and somehow all of what I wrote got refreshed without saving so…must be the Universe knowing I would have something more relevant to say on this Moonday.

I will also take responsibility for doing what I’m called to do. So I will be posting more often. Leave a Comment of a Hi. Smile. Peace. Love.

The Moon the Sacral Chakra and The Water-Rolling in the Deep

Sol Reflection

Hello Mi Amors!

The intensity of the Saturn Root seemed to carry over for awhile, and it kept bringing me back to my Sacral Chakra and how I express my emotions. So I took some time to sit back and reflect before writing this post.

The Moon is a natural satellite that orbits the Earth. It is represented by Monday (hence the saying having a case of the “Mundays”) and the Sacral Chakra, as well as the Element of Water. The Moon rules the 4th sign of the zodiac Cancer. The gravitational influence of Moon energy controls the tides on Earth as well as our Earthly vessels.

Water is necessary for growth and survival. Plants and animals need water, we need water, a baby in the womb is growing in embryotic fluid. Moisture balances the heat of the Light to grow and sustain life. Thus the scripture you must be born again of water and spirit alludes to the higher state of procreation. Creativity or Creation are symbolized by the Sun and Moon, the Masculine and Feminine energy needed to expand and grow.

The Sun, the star of the show gives light to the Moon, the lesser light and the second brightest planet body from our view from Earth. This is symbolic of  your Father and Mother and the household unit. The moon magnetizes the light from the sun and reflects it out into the darkness at night.

The Moon also has a cycle lasting around 28 days which is symbolic of the menstrual cycle.  It begins with a New Moon, which is black symbolizing womb energy and the open plane to create. Then the Moon waxes for two weeks until it is full, or pregnant with whatever energy was planted. After the Full Moon, the Moon wanes back to New Moon, releasing the energy or birthing the baby. A woman that’s connected with nature may notice that she menstruates near the full moon, the time when the lining of the womb is shed and energy is released or birthed.

Whatever we are sowing into our emotional state is creating something.  If your Sun is the Father that wants to do his work, provide for his family, and come to a loving home then your Moon is the Mother keeping home in order and supporting the Father so he can put his energy into his purpose. Not that the Mother is only useful in relation to the Sun, but actually the Mother (the darkness or unknown/subconscious) is the source of desire that makes the Sun seek more to life than just existing. She makes the energy useful to create something new.

If we compare it to the body, we direct the body consciously but the subconscious does the basic chores of the body that keep it functioning so the conscious mind can  focus on what it needs to do. It also subconsciously gives warning signs of problems in the body with headaches muscle pain mucus dreams neurosis etc.  We project our subconscious desires by the energy of the foundation we stand on. In a subtle way over time we create our reality so we can face those desires.

The Moon represents the Sacral Chakra which is located above the Root Chakra in the womb space, underneath the navel and above the pelvic floor. Where the Root Chakra houses the need to survive, the Sacral Chakra takes that force, cultivating it with emotional or environmental energy. These are the waters that supply the moisture to grow and expand the Root energy.

With the element of Water this force is driven by desires. Emotions, energy-in-motion, are the waters driven by desires that can carry the vessel where it needs to go, or toss it around till it capsizes. The desires create emotions creating energetic attachments that can weigh the soul down. In Adele’s song Rolling in the Deep, though most of the song is describing the heartless actions of a previos lover, the hook reminds you what she is really upset about “We could have had it all.” One could feel gratitude at discovering the truth of a situation so they can move on, but the there is still resentment lingering about what could have been.

The nature of Water is also expressed in the story of Yeshua and the Disciples on the boat during the rough waters. The waters were a representation of the Disciples fears and lack of faith while walking with Yeshua. While they feared for their lives they were surprised to find him sleeping, not needing to stop the flow of the waters, but not bothered by them either. When they woke him up crying that they were going to die, he demonstrated his control over his emotions, and thus control over his situations. He was able to walk on water, he was able to transcend the nature of the Water element always present in life so his vessel couldn’t be tossed around and he could not sink. So strong was this power in him that when Peter kept his eyes on Yeshua even Peter was able to transcend the waters as well. But when he focused on the water (like when you feed your negative feelings and keep replaying the same not resourceful thoughts over and over) he began to sink. When we get swept away by our feelings we may also feel like we’re sinking and we can’t get out.

The answer is to observe the Water. If we ignore the subconscious, we ignore the waters and a chance to be cleansed and healed from whatever emotional baggage or blockages are weighing on us. If we wont at least acknowledge it, the nagging woman that refuses to be ignored will start to make your life hell. The womb is for manifesting because it creates life. If our emotional blockages go unchecked we may find ourselves in a whirlwind of stormy situations that validate and support the chaos we already feel inside.

What makes this force so powerful is that it is so unassuming. Nothing can resist water, because water does not resist anything, it allows all things.  Water drifting over a rock consistently over time will wear down that rock. In the same way the emotional state in our lives will call water to wear down our resistance, and then we have to see her. We have to listen to how we feel and how it is affecting what we create.

So what does this mean for the big picture? Think about how you feel on Mondays, which for most is not a very exciting time. Mondays I can get super moody, especially if other things are going on in my life. I have a few hard aspects with my Moon (Sun Square Moon, Moon Opposite Pluto) so I have to work on my emotions regularly.

Think about the life you’ve manifested so far. Do you have a hard time manifesting your desires? Money problems, relationship problems, body image issues? Do you have a hard time expressing yourself? Are you bottling up your emotions? Are you afraid or ashamed of your sexuality or the way your expression is perceived? When you engage in sexual activity are you free enough to orgasm? Do you find yourself frustrated and anxious about every little thing and you don’t know why? Are you constantly dealing with one major problem or block in your way after another? In my experience it is necessary to perceive and face whatever is grieving you, accept it for what it is, and release those emotions.

Since the Waters are about creativity and movement, healing and releasing your emotions can be achieved through creative activities: art, dance, music, writing. I bought oil pastels and drew pictures. Gardening is also great and helps transmute and ground anxiety and out of control feelings. Having a hard day? Go sit next to a tree, touch the bark with your hand and talk to the Most High. Feel the energy move from your hands to the tree to be transmuted. Simple enough, I tried it and it works for me. You can get in touch with your sexuality and the energy it creates so it can be redirected into other pursuits.

Hands down, what has been very helpful in calming my waters and keeping me energized is yoga. Routines that focus on stretching the core, the pelvis and the spine help stretch areas of stiffness in the body. These areas may have energetic blockages. Certain poses will stimulate these areas and help release suppressed emotions and remove those frequencies or “Waters” from your environment.

Yoga.com Studio has a great app I use with lots of programs. I bought it last year on Google Play for 1.99, it was worth every penny.

Satan, Saturn, and the Saturday Sabbath-What it really means

Saturn is associated with Karma and the Root Chakra. The red planet and its rings symbolize the cycles we go through to obtain validation of being, our passion, security, survival, sexual reproduction and the seat of the serpent energy. This is also related to the first zodiac sign Aries “I AM” The ending is literally the beginning. Each day of the week corresponds to a different planetary body; Saturday represents Saturn as the 7th day of the weekly cycle. In Judaism Friday evening to Saturday evening is considered the Sabbath or day of rest.

For anyone 27 years and up, you know that during the years of 27-30, things in your life can get pretty crazy. For me things were so crazy that it led to me researching Saturn’s return and how it can affect your life. Saturn rotates around the sun every 28-30 years but most people start feeling the affects around 27 (the 9)

Saturn takes about 28-29 years to come full circle. Therefore, every 7 years or so, Saturn will transit conjunct, square, or opposite a natal point. When that natal point is an intensely personal planet or point (such as the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, or Mars), we feel its effects in an intensely personal way.

As I stated in another post about the number 7, it signals an opportunity to balance the energy so that a new cycle or level can begin. Saturn transits major planets every 7 years. The planets represent different aspects of a person’s being such as the Moon representing emotions and Mercury representing communication. Saturn cycles, taking inventory as it connects with the different planetary bodies. It ultimately arrives back to the sun or soul around the age of 30, the 3 or point of manifestation, carrying with it all the energies from the past and bringing them back to the light to be purified.

“I started making my documentary at the early part of my Saturn return, left a relationship and transformed my entire life. It started at age 27 for me and by 29 I was in an entirely new phase of my life. Your Saturn Return may feel chaotic, like everything is being uprooted, but that’s a good thing!” -Angela Shelton from her article Notice Your Life Turning Upside Down (around the age of 27-32)?

The basic concept is, you’ve built your life on a certain foundation. This foundation is mainly developed in your childhood years (think root chakra) and if imbalanced can create a false self, or unrealistic way that you view your existence. This is the I AM, the foundation of self that directs your life and the basis of your soul state. If imbalances are not healed, they create imbalances in other chakras and manifest in other areas of your experience. You wouldn’t know that these deep rooted issues were influencing you until your harvest comes and you can see the fruit of your effort. That’s Saturn’s job, Karma, to bring judgment to the fruits of your labor and help you reap what you sow. Thus Satan, the accuser of the bretheren brings all your fears and desires to the forefront for you to see who you really are and what your pursuits are worth.

A lot of artists, musicians, and actors die an untimely death at 27. The inner demons seated in the root chakra come to unravel the illusion the inner child has created to protect itself. This is a time to go within, reflect on what is happening in our lives and consider who we really are.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

As study of the root chakra teaches, the foundation or disciplines our lives are based on will determine how much energy or drive we have to expand beyond just existing. If you live for the weekend, you live for the Sabbath or for Saturn. Most people wait for the weekend to let their guards down and entertain base desires as they run from the stress or unhappiness they feel during their weekly routines. The frustration of daily limitations, obligations to friends and family, relationships, employers all pile up on the person during the week. They feel they are doing their ‘duty’ and deserve a chance to ‘unwind’ on the weekend.

But who are you outside of your obligations? The person watching TV shows or buying things they want others to admire? Drinking partying drugs to alter consciousness because being sober is without value? All of the outside imagery becomes our focus when we have time to ourselves. These images create desires that drive us to keep up our tiring pursuits during the week and seek solace in stimulants on the weekend, still feeling that there is some emptiness to fill. While we are “unwinding” we are not really tapping into the real self. Since all throughout the week we have lost self in our obligations, we now lose self in our need to just ‘be’ and our basest desires take over.

This is what Christ meant by the Sabbath was made for man, not man for Sabbath. Its easy to get caught up in the pursuits of material life because they make us feel validated. The Sabbath can be seen as a time to reflect on what you are doing with your time during the week. Are you investing in things that are sound and stable in your life? Is this the foundation of your soul purpose? Are there other ways you can redirect your energy to make a way for your soul’s purpose and growth?

These are questions only Creator can answer, thus time spent in meditation with the Most High will yield answers to these questions. This is why you honor the Sabbath and keep it holy. If you do not, you will surely reap what you sow as Saturn will bring back with an aggressive energy the fruit of what you have sown over and over until there is death or rebirth.

1 Corinthians 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

Anything built will be tried by fire and everything that is faulty will not stand. We see this in the summertime heat when the sun in balance with adequate rain causes life to spring up abundantly, while drought in the same heat can cause crops to dry out and die. We see this when we are in the sun and feel drained as toxins are removed from our body through sweat. Fire gives life, and fire takes life.

In the universal law of polarity we know that there is an opposing force to everything, so every foundation of stability will be opposed with instability. And only a foundation of truth balanced in every way can sustain that opposing force. This is how dark forces, or what we call Satan and demons operate in our lives. We are tested and tried by our own works and truths. What withstands these opposing forces is the universal truth that remains. The rest is burned away so that the temple can be purified. We are the temple.

Everything that is not you must be purified, including the masks or walls you have constructed from these weak foundations. The more we resist the removal of these constructs, the more aggressive the separation manifests until we have to face what we have built. We can either let these things die and ourselves be reborn, or self destruct along with our creation. Overcoming this dark side to Saturn is accepting that it exists so that we can heal and move forward, and when we do we are compensated for our efforts by moving into a new stage as those cycles and negative experiences are removed from our lives.

The Sanskrit name for the root or base Chakra is Muladhara meaning stillness. We can now see why custom on the Sabbath is to do no work but to be still. The root chakra is also symbolic of the masculine energy to preserve ones self, as it is an aggressive energy. When this energy is imbalanced it can create a restlessness as the person chases something outside to feel grounded within themselves.

To be still is to acknowledge that you exist regardless of other things in your life. That being inside your body fully is enough validation that you are a unique being here for a purpose and have the right to fulfill that purpose. Being still on the Sabbath reflects this inner knowing, that nothing is worth doing or sowing that isn’t going to harvest the fruit your soul wants to manifest. By taking the time to quiet the flesh and still the mind you remember that everything you need is within you, and you can center you energy so that you can focus your light and shine!

A balanced view of Saturn creates a balanced view of life. That we are only in pain when we make space for it in our lives by believing something is missing, and that we have the ability through healing to avoid these negative cycles by honest introspection of the seeds we are sowing throughout the week. Then on Sunday we are grounded, full of life force or soul energy to invest with a clear vision of what we hope to accomplish.

What does this mean for the big picture? To be in balance with the forces that govern this realm, know that Saturday is the day that your root chakra energy will be high. Think about how you feel on Saturdays, are you ready to just escape everything? Do you only feel escape in things outside of self, like social interactions, parties, or drugs and alcohol to alter states of consciousness? Do you find yourself thinking about your childhood or family conflicts? Is this the day you are most likely to engage in addictive behaviors? Try being still and reflecting on the energy you bring into this day and if it is harmonious with your soul’s purpose. You have to take time for yourself to see what direction you’re going in before your destination catches up with you.

Days of the Week-Cycles within a Cypher

Hi My Sea Suns and Sea Stars,

Another installment of the 7 series, the 7 days of the week.

As I’ve stated before I am fascinated with the number 7 and how it applies to completion and balance in heaven and earth. 7 planetary bodies that are visible in this reality correspond to 7 Chakras and also to the 7 days of the week.
A cycle is a cipher. And no im not referring to Battle Rap lol. The definition of a cipher is:

a secret or disguised way of writing; a code.

a zero; a figure 0.

So to some extent we can see a cipher as a 0 or womb and there’s a secret or code within the cycle that appears to be just doing it’s thing day in day out.

In this post I list the days of the week and the energies associated with this cycle. Some of the symbols may differ from traditional forms of thought, I stay true to my intuition and how I perceive energy to move.

1. Sunday-Sun, Solar Plexus(higher nature or soul/true self), Fire, Leo-I will, Life force, sowing of seed, energy, The Father, Masculine

2. Monday-Moon, Sacral, Water, Cancer-I feel, Emotions/Environment, watering of seed, space, The Mother, Feminine

3.Tuesday-Mars, Solar Plexus (lower nature or ego/false self), Earth and Water/Fire , Aries-I am and Scorpio-I desire, the I AM force driven by desire, how you actively invest your energy, The Warrior, Masculine.

4. Wednesday-Mercury, Throat Chakra, Air and Earth/Ether Gemini-I think and Virgo-I analyze The thought force driven by the ability to analyze, how you communicate your thoughts, how you analyze others communications of their thoughts, Masculine or Feminine depending on the driving force (receiving or giving communication, passive or aggressive communication)

5. Thursday-Jupiter, Third Eye, Fire and Water/Light, Sagittarius-I aim and Pisces-I believe, the bigger picture, your goals focused by your experiences and perception. The ability to grow and use the waters as a way to expand and elevate. The light that fertilizes the womb or vesca pisces (theres a vagina in the middle lol) Masculine.

6.Friday-Venus, Heart, Air and Earth/Air, Libra-I balance and Taurus-I have, art, beauty, love for self and others, warmth self-esteem and forgiveness, creativity, The Lover, Feminine.

7.Saturday-Saturn, Root, Earth and Air/Earth, Capricorn-I use and Aquarius-I know, Restrictions holding back, Karma, foundation, survival, discipline, child-hood issues. The Shadow Self/Sabbath day of Judgment or Rest.

As a little experiment I will be observing my moods and energy levels during a couple seven day cycles. Leave a comment highlighting your own cycles. Are these energies more present on certain days?
